Hour of Power with Fallon Drewett
How honest are you when it comes to speaking your mind? Join us at the August Hour of Power as Fallon Drewett, creator of The Just Saying Project, explores the importance of speaking your truth when it comes to business, and in life. There is a power in owning your thoughts and voicing them rather than saying what you think others want to hear. The more honest we are with others, and ourselves, the closer we get to living life on our own terms.

About our guest speaker
As a former newspaper journalist for 10 years, Fallon Drewett still enjoys using her writing and creativity through her business The Just Saying Project (JSP) to tell it like it is. JSP is about embracing who we are and giving women the confidence to say out loud that it’s okay to 'just be me'.
When she isn’t creating events and projects to empower women to build their self-esteem and see their potential in the Mackay community, Fallon loves hanging out with her two children, singing sentences, the smell of rain, sleeping in, reading and tucking into ciders and cheese.

The Great Give Donation Challenge
We’re smashing our 2017 donation goal for the Mackay Women’s Centre so we thought it was time to give you record breakers a new challenge. The lovely ladies at Pinpoint Property are our friendly contenders – they’ve put up an offer of 200 packets of sanitary items, can we match them?
Of course we can! Donate at our August event by bringing along unopened boxes/packets of tampons/pads and you’ll be helping out local women in need.
Thanks to our amazing sponsors:
